To submit for the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards you must complete the online submission form below.

Completing the submission form is not enough. An artist MUST also submit music.

Please do not submit 'burnt' CD-R copies of your CD or send links to where we can hear your music. 'Burnt' CD-Rs and links will not be considered. If submitting electronically, please ensure your tracks are in mp3  format.

Who is eligible for an EMA?
Any artists from the Edmonton area, including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Stony Spruce Grove & Stony Plain (maximum 100km radius). The eligibility period for the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards is between January 1, 2016 and December 31st, 2016. This means that the artist's product (single, album, or video) must have been released to the general public within this time frame. The "Release date" for EMA eligibility purposes is defined as the date of the first shipment to retail, radio or posted online release date. Proof of online transaction or shipment may be requested. The only exception is the category for Artist To Watch. This category is reserved for artist with plans on releasing new material in 2017. Artists from outside the area, who recorded their releases in Edmonton, will also be considered.


Is there a deadline submissions need to be made by?
To be considered for a 2017 Edmonton Music Award, submissions must be received by 11:59PM on February 28th, 2017. There will be NO extensions.

Does it cost anything to submit our music?
There is no fee associated with submitting music for consideration for the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards.
